Queensland Suns Men's & Mixed Netball Celebrate at 2025 Awards Night

Late last month, the QLD Suns community came together to celebrate a stellar season at our annual Men’s & Mixed Netball Awards Night, held at Brisbane’s Lord Stanley Hotel. With players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, and supporters in attendance, it was a fitting occasion to recognise the individuals and teams who went above and beyond in 2025.

The night kicked off with an energetic opening from MC Tim O’Rourke, followed by a welcome address from President Darren Gillespie, who reflected on the Suns’ strategic direction, acknowledged the tireless efforts of volunteers, and celebrated standout achievements - including Gavin Clarke’s elite coaching accreditation, and the historic undefeated campaign by our U17 team.
