The Queensland Suns Men’s & Mixed Netball Association is proud to announce that the male athletes for our 2026 squads have now been finalised. Following a highly competitive trial process, our selectors have confirmed the male athletes who will join our squads in preparation of representing Queensland on the national stage next year.
This includes both the men’s team squads and the men’s representatives for our mixed squads. With exceptional talent on display throughout the trials, the squads reflect the depth, athleticism, and commitment that continues to build within our men’s pathway. These athletes will now begin preparations for the 2026 season, with squad training set to kick off in the coming weeks.
While the men’s squads across all teams are now locked in, the selection process for the female athletes in our mixed squad remains ongoing. These trials are being conducted through the 2025 Mixed M League, which is providing selectors with a strong base to identify athletes ready to step onto the national stage.
The Suns remain committed to developing and supporting athletes across both men’s and mixed netball. With the 2026 season fast approaching, our focus now turns to high-performance preparation, ensuring our athletes are ready to showcase Queensland’s strength on court.
President Darren Gillespie said this marks an exciting next chapter:
“Every year the standard gets higher, and this year’s selections are no exception. We’ve seen incredible talent emerge through our trials, and I know these athletes will represent Queensland with pride. With training about to begin, the hard work really starts now as we prepare for another big year.”
