In line with its commitment to raising the bar across all facets of the organisation, the Queensland Suns are proud to spotlight the evolution of its marketing and media team - a key pillar in enhancing our professional presence both on and off the court.
Since joining in August 2024, Brock Stokes has played an instrumental role in revitalising the Suns' social media footprint. In his role overseeing Marketing, Media and Events, Brock has been the driving force behind a more cohesive and professional online presence, elevating the club’s image across platforms. His initiative to lead a professional athlete photo shoot has significantly boosted the quality and consistency of content used throughout the Suns' social media.
With a strong background in graphic design and experience working in professional sport, including his ongoing role with Netball Queensland, Brock brings a creative and strategic edge that has quickly made him an invaluable asset to the Queensland Suns.
In July 2025, the Queensland Suns took the next step in their marketing evolution by welcoming Grace-Adele Sutherland as the organisation’s Brand Lead. This new role reflects the club’s broader strategic objective to enhance brand professionalism across the board.
Grace brings with her a wealth of marketing and brand management expertise, having led campaigns and managed teams across Australia for global and household names such as McDonald’s, Warner Music, PointsBet, MCoBeauty, Under Armour, and more. Her experience spans both agency and in-house roles, giving her a comprehensive understanding of brand development, creative direction, and digital strategy.
Grace will create and drive the Suns’ overarching brand strategy, including online presence, email marketing, social media, website development, digital advertising, content strategy, and community engagement. She will work closely with the Executive Committee to identify and implement opportunities to elevate the brand across all channels. Grace will also collaborate directly with Brock on design direction and content delivery to ensure a cohesive and professional brand experience at every touchpoint.
“Brock has been a standout addition to the Queensland Suns, and we’re incredibly grateful for his creativity and dedication. His work has transformed our content and helped us present the Suns in a much more professional light. I look forward to seeing Brock continue to transform our media presence and push boundaries with his content creation.” said President Darren Gillespie.
“We’re also thrilled to welcome Grace to the team. Her marketing background is exceptional, and I’m excited to see how her strategic leadership can help take our brand to the next level.”
With a dynamic and talented team now in place, the Queensland Suns are well-positioned to strengthen their profile, engage their community, and continue building a high-performance culture on and off the court.
